Prior to joining Roark in October 2009, Collins was a Principal at Stone Tower Equity Partners, a private equity investment firm with $2.5 billion in capital under management. He focused on buyout investments in the consumer, media, and telecommunications sectors. Collins served on the board of directors of TowerCo, a developer, owner, and lessor of more than 3,000 communication towers. Prior to Stone Tower Equity Partners, Collins was a Director at Parish Capital Advisors, a private equity investment firm with $1.5 billion in capital under management. At Parish, he focused on investments in the firm’s opportunistic investment portfolio which included direct investments, co-investments and secondary investments. Prior to Parish Capital Advisors, Collins was a Principal at Bruckmann, Rosser, Sherrill & Co., a private equity investment firm with $1.2 billion in capital under management. At Bruckmann, Rosser, Sherrill & Co., he focused on buyouts in the consumer products sector.
Previously, Collins worked at Bowles Hollowell Connor, a leading middle-market investment bank focused on merger and financing advisory services, and Bain & Company. Collins graduated magna cum laude from Howard University with a BBA in Accounting and received his MBA from the Harvard Business School.
